Turnover hoisting device (see attached drawing) is an important
supporting unit in the autoclave aerated concrete cutter. Fixed on
a special overhead crane, it depends on the crane for traveling and
lifting. In the process of lifting up or down, it is guided by the
guide frame; hence it can move stably and correctly without such
defects as deviation and swinging. It is a specialized hoisting
device with the function of opening and stripping off the mould.
The turnover hoisting device has two major functions.
a) Lift the poured and cured concrete block together with its mould
frame and side plate up in the air, turn it over ninety degrees to
keep the block upright, carry it to the cutting table, open and
strip off the mould, and lift away the mould frame so that the
concrete block can be cut.
b) Mount and clamp the side plate on the mould frame once again,
turn it over ninety degrees and carry it back to the starting line
so that pouring can be resumed.

The turnover hoisting device is made up of the following units:
cross beam, vertical beam, guide, turnover device, lifting device,
side plate clamping and loosening device, and hydraulic system.
The cross beam and the vertical beam are made of rectangular steel
tubes. They feature good rigidity, simple structure, easy assembly
and convenient adjustment.
The hydraulic station, the lifting device and the side plate
clamping/loosening device are fixed on top of the cross beam. The
guide and the turnover device are fixed on the vertical beam.
The turnover hoisting device has the functions of traveling,
hoisting the mould up and down, turning over the mould, clamping
and loosening the side plate and stripping off the mould.
While the overhead crane is traveling, it keeps the turnover
hoisting device traveling to and fro along the axial direction of

When the hoisting device is lifted in the air by the overhead
crane, the hydraulic station will supply pressurized hydraulic oil
to the turnover cylinder, driving its piston to turn over the mould
with the help of the turnover device.
d) Clamping and loosening:
The hydraulic station supplies pressurized hydraulic oil to the
clamping cylinder and drives the turnover device to turn ninety
degrees, fulfilling the motions of clamping when the clamping arm
turns leftward and loosening when it turns rightward.
When the clamping arm is in a loosening state on the right,
stripping off the mould can be realized by lifting the turnover
hoisting device upward.
Most of the units in the turnover hoisting device are already
assembled and lifting and turnover tests have been done before
delivery ex works.
What needs to be done on site is to mount the loose parts that were
taken down due to shipping reasons.
a) Fix the crass beam and the vertical beam.
b) Mount the hydraulic station on the cross beam.
c) Clamp the side plate and mount the stripping cylinder on the
cross beam and the turnover cylinder on the vertical beam.
d) Install and connect the hydraulic pipelines.
e) Connect the sling of the overhead crane with the pulley on the
f) Use the overhead crane to lift up the turnover hoisting device
to connect the guide on the vertical beam with the guide frame
fixed on the overhead crane. Take care that the centerline of the
turnover hoisting device must be aligned with that of the guide
6. Trial lifting, trial turnover and adjustment
a) Trial lifting:
Use the overhead crane to lift up the turnover hoisting device on
its sling and move the guide wheel up and down the guide frame. The
turnover hoisting device should be able to move freely, balancedly
and stably without jamming or swinging.
b) Trial turnover:
Use the turnover hoisting device to lift up a mould together with
its side plate. Operate the hydraulic system to supply pressure to
the turnover device and the mould should be turned over ninety
i.Add pads between the contacting surfaces if the cross beam and
the vertical beam are not perpendicular with each other.
ii.If the turnover hoisting device is found to swing to and fro,
adjust the gap between the guide wheel and the guide frame.
iii.If error occurs when the mould is turned over ninety degrees,
adjust the limit.
a) Daily care:
i.Maintain the hydraulic station according to related instructions.
ii.Clean the piston rod (extruding section) with a rag and remove
all the dirt when production is finished at the end of each shift.
Then move the piston rod back to its original position.
iii.Clean the turnover device, the lifting device and the guide
system and remove all waste materials.
Check carefully all the fasteners and pipelines every week. Tighten
all loosened fasteners and replace all damaged components.
a) Switch off the power when production is finished at the end of
